What these cover

These terms apply to your use of enginebay.net. They do not govern any work we carry out for you. If you engage us, that is covered by a separate written agreement, and where the two differ, that agreement wins.

Using this site

Read it, quote it, send it to a colleague. Do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking us first, scrape it at a rate that affects other people, or present its content as your own.

Our content

The text, the design, the logo and the published technical material on this site are ours. You may quote or link to any of it with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale as your own work.

Nothing here is professional advice

This site describes what we look at in an assessment, what we build in a migration, and where platforms fall short. It is general information written without knowledge of your environment. It is not advice you should act on for your own estate, and no engineer here has looked at your systems. The point of the assessment is that somebody does.

No warranty

We try to keep the site accurate and available, and we correct mistakes when we find them. We do not promise it is complete, current, or free of errors, and we do not promise it will be up when you want it.

Limitation of liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited. Beyond that, our total liability in connection with your use of this website is limited to EUR 500. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the site.

Other people's sites

We link to other sites and embed a meeting room provided by Whereby. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Their terms apply when you are there.

If you engage us

Scope, fees, deliverables, confidentiality, ownership of the report and everything else about the work are set out in the written agreement we send before starting. Submitting the form on this site does not create a contract, and neither does our reply with a price.

Changes

We change these terms when we need to and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site means the current version applies.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by Estonian law, and the Estonian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you deal with us as a consumer rather than a business, this does not remove protections you have under the law of the country you live in.
